The Lily Pad offers formal studio instruction with renowned master artist Jack Keledjian. Under the direction of Mr. Keledjian, students study in a traditional atelier format by painting from life. Classes focus on the foundation principles of classic painting composition and technique. Curriculum may be designed around a student's individual goals. Please call for details.

Art Classes for Children

FINISHED FOR THE SEASON
Instructor: Jamie Verbinnen. 6-12 year olds welcome, $20 per class.
We feel that if you bring children into a gallery environment and make them feel comfortable, these children will visit galleries and museums as adults. Lily Pad is entering its 12th year of art classes for children between 6 and 12 years old. Children work among the paintings exhibited in the gallery. The instructor chooses a particular painting from which she teaches a bit of art history along with some techniques that the artist might have used in creating it. With this information, students create their own interpretive version of the work. Please call to sign up: 401-596-3426.
